Hey guys - I'm new to the forum (and to gravel riding generally), and was hoping you guys might provide your thoughts on these wheels.

Basically, I recently laid hands on a 2016 Salsa Warbird, aluminum with the Tiagra group (link to build kit: http://salsacycles.com/bikes/archive/2016_warbird_tiagra1).   I wanted to see if anyone knew anything about these rims, since I can't seem to find info on them anywhere (weight, max tire size, durability, etc.).  Granted I'm a roadie, but they seem heavy and it would be great to compare them to what else is out there.  FWIW, the use of this bike will ideally be for longer endurance rides (hopefully the Kanza in 2018).

Thanks all!

GW

Following to hear what others might have to say --

But, looks like a rim used mainly for inexpensive and/or OEM wheels - I'm guessing on the heavy side and not tubeless, and built with straight gauge spokes.  Salsa hubs in the past were made by Formula, if I'm not mistaken.

I found a link on a complete wheel set but nothing on rim alone... Wheelset is 2200g so any aftermarket wheelset should shave 1 lbs of rotational weight...
