I'm trying to build out a versatile adventure/commuter bike from a SOMA double cross disc frameset, and was wondering if the following 1x drivetrain combo would work with itself (cross-compatibility wise) and the frame (which has a standard 68mm threaded bb shell and 135mm rear spacing):

Crankset: Sram Rival 1 (w/ gxp bb) 42t
Rear derailleur: Sram GX (1x11) long cage
Shifter: Sram GX (11 speed) trigger shifter
Cassette: Sram PG-1130 (11 speed) 11-42t
Chain: Sram PC-1130 (11 speed)

I originally wanted to go with a full rival 1 drivetrain but had a tough time tracking down a reasonable deal on the trigger shifter that works with the rival 1 rear derailleur, so I turned to the gx shifting system.

Any other setup suggestions are welcome – Thanks!

Presuming this is a flat bar application? Yep, it will all work. With road-width cranks, the chainline is just a little bit inboard from where it would be with a MTB crank, but it's totally fine in practice.

Bon chance!
