I'm looking to upgrade my current 650b wheelset. I'm looking for a set with wide rims, shimano spline freehub, 6 bolt disc, 12x100mm front (or convertible to 12mm), 12x142mm rear. Like to be under 1600g in weight and under $500 total.

Anyone have any suggestions? I was looking at a few chinese carbon wheelsets on ebay, but some are listed with 110mm front hubs and they get confusing. A bunch of xd hubs available as well, but I need shimano spline.

I was looking at this wheelset, but want something a little wider then 22mm. I also dont want to use 6 bolt adapters.

Euro site, but its gives you an idea that you should be able to get something with either the Crest Mk3 or 361 rims, along with either the 350 or Novatech carbon hubs, for your budget (along with shipping) and under weight. (Axle options under pull-down menus on the side).

First, switch to centerlock (ha!), second, comp cyclist had a mercury wheelset that was 6 bolt and discounted frequently I have almost bought a few times. Last, check out Huny bike wheels in the UK. Decent reviews, great prices.

I like 6 bolt, because they are easier to find. Plus, I just installed the XT icetech rotors and really like the performance of them. I remember seeing the mercury wheels, but they are sold out. I was looking at the Hunt wheels, but they are only 20mm wide and I've seen so so reviews on them.

Gravel to your specs and budget, no problem.  I can do that all day long.

23.5mm internal asymmetric rim, double butted spokes, choice of brass nipples or alloy to shave some more grams, and really good quality hubs.  Hubs are 11 speed, convertible, easy maintenance, super reliable.  Hubs use made in Japan TPI bearings, same as DT Swiss.

This pair I shipped out early December.

Good call on Oleritter.  I got a set from him about a year ago, and still happily riding on them.

Those are my wheels. Running great! Oleritter was so easy to work with and had patience with my endless emails regarding details as the build came together. Highly recommended!

That actually would be awesome, but they don't show available to order. Also, I've got a set being made currently.
