2020FBG_PostcardSMALL.jpg The 10th edition of the Funk Bottoms Gravel will be held on Saturday June 13, 2020 in Glenmont, OH. Funk Bottoms Gravel will once again challenge cyclists to Ohio’s Toughest Gravel Grinder. To celebrate 10 years of the Funk we have come up with a very special course this year. Two races, one brutal course! A one lap 100K race and for the ultimate challenge, a double lap 200K race. The course will take riders along some of Ohio’s most scenic back country roads. On each lap, riders will be challenged with over 7,000 feet of vertical climbing! The 200K race is an Ohio epic. It is a relentless and grueling climber’s course. The overall 200K female and male finishers will receive a free entry into Gravel Worlds in Lincoln Nebraska.

I did this race two years ago, and yes, the 100k and 200k riders started together.  It is 2 laps for 200k, 1 lap for 100k.  When I rode the race, virtually everyone did the 100k, only a small handful of us tried the 200k.  That might change this year as FB is part of an Ohio Gravel Racing series, and the points are in the 200k race.

Thanks, GranvilleGravel.  Was there any way to know by looking at race numbers whether someone was doing the 100k or 200k?

200KNUmber.png The 200K racers will have a strip of blue tap on top of the numbers with "200K"
